2. THE SITE DOES NOT CREATE A PHYSICIAN-PATIENT RELATIONSHIP
Using this site, reading its content, completing a form, subscribing to a newsletter or sending us a message does not create a physician-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you have been accepted as a patient, have completed the required consents, and have been seen by one of our physicians.

Do not send protected health information through a general contact form or by ordinary email. Those channels are not secure and are not covered by our HIPAA obligations. Patients should use the secure patient portal for anything clinical.
Anything you submit that is not personal or health information — a suggestion, a comment, feedback — may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
9. LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The site may link to sites and services we do not control, including our scheduling system, our patient portal and our dispensary. We provide those links for convenience. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their content, their practices or their terms, each of which you should read.

13. CHANGES
We may change these terms. The current version is always posted here with its effective date. Your continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by California law. Before commencing any formal proceeding, please write to us and allow thirty days to resolve the matter. Any dispute not so resolved shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Monterey County, California, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing a matter in small claims court.
15. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in full force.
